Reembodied Sound is an interdisciplinary symposium and festival, focusing on current and emerging practices in music and sonic art involving the use of transducers or surface speakers.

Anssi Karttunen (cello) and Nicolas Hodges (piano) will give a recital at the Columbia Global Center | Paris (4, Rue de Chevreuse, 75006 Paris) on Saturday, April 22 at 8:00 pm. The program will feature the two sonatas for cello and piano by Johannes Brahms, a work by Betsy Jolas, and world premières by Columbia composers Ashkan Behzadi and Fred Lerdahl.

Performing are Helen Sung-piano, Vince Cherico-drums, Ugonna Okegwo-bass, Ole Mathison-sax, Paul Bollenback -guitar and Leo Traversa-electric bass.

This concert is free and open to the public.
