The Department warmly congratulates Dr. Althea SullyCole, who successfully defended her PhD dissertation in Music (Ethnomusicology), titled “Mandé Instruments at the Met: Analyzing Intangible Cultural Heritage in the Context of an African Musical Instrument Collection in the Museum” on October 13, 2022.
The Department warmly congratulates Dr. Mary Catherine Stoumbos, who successfully defended her PhD dissertation in Music (Ethnomusicology), titled “Student citizens: Whiteness, inequality, and social reproduction in marketized music education” on September 29, 2022.
