The Atlanta chapter of Dorkbot, the international forum on art and
technology dedicated to “people doing strange things with
electricity,” will have its next meeting tomorrow, Thursday, February
21, at 4 pm in the Couch Building (room 102) at Georgia Tech.
Full details and directions are available at:

(Please note the change in location and time from our regular dorkbot
meetings.)
This month's meeting features saxophonist Eliot Gattegno, who will
give a lecture/demonstration of music for saxophone and live
electronics, focusing on Terry Riley's "Dorian Reeds" and Per
Bloland's "Quintet."
Hailed by the Boston Globe as “having superior chops backed up by
assured musicianship”, saxophonist Eliot Gattegno enjoys a multi-
faceted international career as a soloist, chamber musician, and
teacher. He began musical studies at the age of two and at seventeen
made his debut in Boston’s Jordan Hall performing with Christopher
O’Riley on the National Public Radio show “From the Top”. Since then
musical activities have taken him throughout Asia, Europe, North and
South America. For more information please visitwww.eliotgattegno.com.
As always, dorkbot, which is sponsored by the Georgia Tech Music
Department, is free and open to the public.
