I just wanted to mention a show that is opening tonight where I will be
showing some of my work.

The description of the show is extremely vague but it seems like there are
some interesting artists represented here. I am going to see it tonight. It
is at the new National Harbor on the Maryland side of the Woodrow Wilson
Bridge. More information below.

FLIK interactive – An Interactive Art Exhibition by Art Outlet and Art Whino

FLIK interactive is a show of 2 and 3-D and interactive new media art about
the influence of technology at Art Whino July 25 - August 29, 2008.

Computing, virtual worlds, online social networking and mechanical and
electronic technologies have transformed how we humans hook up and how we
view the world. Is this influence utopic or dystopic? Sublime or irrelevant?
Is this about beauty? FLIK interactive will reflect on these technologies
and forms of computer mediated social interaction.
