THE BAD NEWS: THIS MONTHS DORKBOT IS POSTPONED,
THE GOOD NEWS: WE'RE PLANNIN A PARTY FOR XMAS INSTEAD!

Dear Dorkbotians,

Rachel and Mike here, we both have been working on Dorkbot over the
past months, just for those who we haven't met.

Sorry for the short notice but we've decided to postpone this month's
Dorkbot, which was due to take place tomorrow Tuesday 16th.

We figured that some of you may well be attending the Watershed
hosted, 'Real Robots' -
http://www.creativetechnologynetwork.co.uk/item/174/93/245/3 instead.
Some of you might be interested in going to this weekends event
'Igfest' - http://www.igfest.org,  so meantime there's plenty going
on!

We'll be back in the flow in October when we will be back with another
rip-roaring Dorkbot encounter.

We're currently thinking of doing a Dorkbot weekender near to Christmas
time and it would be great if you could let us know if you'd be
interested and what you'd like to happen.

Lots of you have made suggestions and shown interest in some Arduino,
Electronic music technology, Streaming and other more hands-on
activity. So we figured this and potentially some collaborative build
workshops could be good fun, followed by a bit of Dorkbot festivity.
It's our Dorkbot. Let's make it what we'd like it to be.

Also, this announce list is all very well, but it doesn't give us the
ability to discuss ideas for the forthcoming events between us, nor
anything else dorkbotical that we may want to.

There is thankfully a solution, the Dorkbot Bristol Blabber list, where
we can all post to.  So here's an idea, why don't we all sign up to it
and get filling our inboxes with some quality spam from yet another
bloody mailing list!?
