I wanted to bring this to your attention. Please note, there are not artist
fees for this, but I think that it works with what we do very well!

*Calgary Lighting Festival Nov 27 – 30*

Have you ever wanted to animate with light or see your animations projected
on to Calgary buildings? Now’s your chance... Eos Lightmedia is looking for
artists.
*Vancouver’s Eos Lightmedia and the 2009 Grey Cup Festival will be staging
the first ever "Calgary Lighting Festival" all along the Stephen Avenue Mall
from November 27 to 30, 2009 (Grey Cup weekend)*. Similar events are already
held in other cities and the hope is that this will become an annual event
in Calgary. You may have seen some of Eos’s projection work here already for
the King Eddy/Cantos building project launch last year.

Eos is seeking visual artists who are interested in participating in this
festival. Eos is able to offer major public exposure and a chance to make
use of some very expensive, hi-tech equipment (much of the same equipment
will be used during the Vancouver Olympics in February). The current catch
is that they are not able to pay artist fees, although they expect that this
will change if the first year is successful.
