It's got a SD slot, and SD cards (up to a couple gigs at least) are cheap.
If it's the full implementation of the SD interface, there are a couple
lines that can be used as digital I/O.
Personally, I think bringing out one or two of the other interfaces on the
highly-integrated-SOC Marvell is pushing (like the second gigE port, or
either of the SATA ports, or the digital audio port, or...) would have been
nifty, but it's still a nifty toy.
