I used Home Movie Depot( http://www.homemoviedepot.com/ ) for a bunch
of old super 8's and they do photo scanning. They have a really nice
system in place that made me feel confident. First, you enter in how
many reels you have and then you print 2 pages of barcodes. One page
you cut up and place a barcode on each reel and the other sheet you
tape to the outside of the box. Obviously, You probably won't be doing
the barcodes for photos, but the fact that they have such a system in
place is nice to know. The results were great and the price was one of
the better I had seen.
