It should be noted that according to this page:

"The WIZnet module is compatible with the official Arduino Ethernet
library, which is easy to use and very powerful. However it does not
have DHCP built-in which can make setup a bit frustrating if your
network isn't friendly."

There is discussion of a DHCP addition to the Arduino library for
WIZnet, but nothing official yet that I know of:

I find the Xport Direct is worth the price over the WIZnet, especially
if you are depending on DHCP working.  The Xports are pretty solid.
