Yep, I'm up and running. Wonder what happened. I spoke with an
investment banker type this past weekend who was poo-pooing the Palm Pre
because he said they were launching it on Sprint's network and that
Sprint was broke.
I do know that (until they teamed up with ClearWire?) one big issue was
getting enough backhaul capacity.
Speedtest.net results:
down: 5232 kb/s
up: 2130 kb/s
ping (Ashburn, Va): 105ms
$25/month for 6-months, then $35/month; option for $50/month "for life".
I'd like to take the modem around town (don't have the USB dongle),
plugged into an inverter to see how it does.
