Hey y'all - I haven't been to a dorkbot event in ages (sorry) but
since I'm on the artomatic board I thought I'd chime in here and
encourage anyone doing cool installation art (or uncool installation
art) to please join us. The fee is $99 this year and we ask 3
volunteer staffing shifts.
Registration stays open til we run out of room - that's more critical
for 2d artists who need walls - for those of us who do standalone
pieces it's pretty rare to run out of space so no need to panic.
Plus, there are performance opportunities and if we can we'd love to
host a dorkbot meeting if it works out. We're closed Tuesdays again
this year because of low attendance.
Also, while I'm at it, we're always looking for good solid drupal
programmers to help our webteam. Just thought I'd throw that out. :-)
So - questions about installing something with unusual requirements go
to registration at artomatic.org (of you can hold out til after the
weekend our registrars would thank you greatly) and if you're hot to
join the drupal team, email volunteer at artomatic.org
hope to see lots of you at/in the show.
cheers
rebecca
