FreeMind is a free, open-source, Java-based "mind-mapper" tool
http://freemind.sourceforge.net/wiki/index.php/Main_Page
it's a *great* app but even better, it's genuinely cross-platform.
i move mind-maps between Windoze and Mac with a flash drive all
the time and the same Java app runs in both places perfectly.
i believe it imports and export OMPL, too.
