[dorkbotdc-blabber] Guitar shops near DC?

I don't know much about guitars, but I know a couple of
all-purpose music stores that might be helpful.

Chuck Levin's Washington Music Center in Wheaton MD, a huge store
with all kinds of instruments, here's their guitar department:

Here's a photo tour of the guitar department, a lot of electric
guitars, there's also an "acoustic room" with guitars, mandolins,
banjos, etc., you can see photos of lots of acoustic guitars if
you click through the photos.

There's also the House of Musical Traditions in Takoma Park MD,
its smaller, specializes in acoustic/folk instruments of all
sorts.  Here's their Guitar section.

They have a YouTube page with little video clips playing a lot of
their guitars, so you see what they sound like.

Both stores sell used guitars on consigment as well as new
guitars.
