So what happened?!?

There was some great discussion about robotics up here for a while. I wanted to know how it turned out?
The discussion on robot art was great, I wanted to know where it led.

Pindar will your painter be mobile and autonomous next?

Philip K is too modest! His electronic art projects are awesome and are profiled here on the campus of NIH.
Philip, how's it goin? What are you working on now?

Andrew, did you consider building your own robot arm?

"Butter Fingers" was seriously cool in Iron Man wasn't it?
I have have been dying for an automated third hand tool,
and when I saw his lab in the movie- I was like..
"That's IT EXACTLY!"
With all the RepRap
or FabLab enthusiasts around,
have you considered building your own arm? It may depend on your
workspace area, etc-
And put a gripper where the nozzle goes.. but there were rumors that
somewhere between our
groups, we might start a team of builders. If so, I want 'in'.
FabLab, RepRap Anyone? Anyone??
