[dorkbotnyc-blabber] FPGAs anyone?

I have a bit of experience with Altera FPGAs and CPLDs.
I don't know any hardware design languages (like VHDL etc...)
but I can usually get stuff to work with a schematic design approach.
Altera's Quartus software is fairly easy to use and the free
version will handle 90% of the jobs out there.
If you have any questions - fire away and I'll see if I can help.
I also can share schematics showing how to get up and running
(and in-system programming) with the FPGAs I've used.

Subject: [dorkbotnyc-blabber] FPGAs anyone?
Wondering if anyone out there has experience with FPGAs and would be interested in doing a little tutoring? Or if others out there are experimenting with them and have interest in forming a casual little hobbyist group? Email me if you are interested.
Thanks,
Heather
