[dorkbotnyc-blabber] FPGAs anyone?

I'm digging into FPGAs as well, I'm learning VHDL for use with a low-end
xilinx part in a pro audio multichannel recorder I'm developing. I'm
using "Circuit Design with VHDL" by Pedroni and recommend it.

VHDL is kind of mind-bending. I have a lot of experience with C and
frankly it isn't like "programming" in any conventional sense. The
possibilities, however, are staggering.

Unfortunately ... I moved to Oakland 2 months ago, to be in the silicon
valley area and possibly get a "real job" doing this stuff. :)

FWIW,
Jesse
