I have a couple of midi interfaces from the dark ages before USB which
might come in handy for those of you who use ancient computers in your
installations. Free to pick up in Park Slope or Tribeca.
Mark of the Unicorn PC Midi Flyer (PC/WINDOWS)
http://www.fullcompass.com/product/287162.html
Plugs in to parallel port, provides two ins and two outs (32
independant channels, not just the same 16 twice)
Includes a standard parallel port cable, but I probably won't be able
to find the drivers, so you'll have to dig for them on the web.
Opcode Studio Plus Two (ANCIENT MAC)
32 channels like the Flyer: 2 ins, 6 outs
Plugs into the two little round serial ports that used to be standard
on every mac. If your mac doesn't have two little round serial ports,
this won't work for you.
Wide and flat, designed to sit underneath the original mac
Probably doesn't need drivers; I will try to find the two short serial
cables that connect it to the mac, but no promises.
I might even have a homemade midi adapter for the Amiga 1000 serial
port. If you have a use for that, I salute you!
Also: Apple Extended Keyboard II (the old heavy duty office keyboard
with numeric pad), for ADB only, not USB
Email me if you want any of this crap. It's all going in the trash in
a week or two.
