CALL FOR ART
Lilliput: Tiny art for big people

RedSaw Gallery is seeking submissions for a group exhibition curated
by Jeanne Brasile and Asha Ganpat. Open to all artists working in any
media, this exhibition will include art which is unable to be properly
viewed with the naked eye and requires a magnification tool. Artist
may propose to include own magnification tool. All 2-d work should be
no larger than 1.5x1.5 inches, 3-d artwork no larger than 1.5 in
length width or height. Proposals should include size (and frame size,
if applicable) and a brief description of the submitted artwork.

ELIGIBILITY
This show is open to all artists working in any media. All forms of
art are eligible. There is a limit of 5 entries per artist. Entrants
must be 18 years of age or older to apply. All work must be ready for
installation or hanging.

REQUIRED MATERIALS
SASE, images, image list, statement, resume, contact information with
email address and phone number. Send all information to Lilliput,
RedSaw Gallery, 585 Broad Street, Newark, NJ 07109

DEADLINE
The FINAL deadline is Monday June 30, 2007. All entries must be
received (not postmarked) by this date, no exceptions.

FEE
There is no fee for submission.

IMAGE PRESENTATION
Artwork may be submitted by 25mm slides or jpeg images on CD. Label
slides with artist, title, media, dimensions and directional arrow to
indicate top of slide. For JPEG images, please include a single
reference sheet with images numbered. Include the title, media,
dimensions, and date of the work.

NOTIFICATION
Artists will be notified of acceptance or non-acceptance no later then
July 2, 2007. Notification will be made by e-mail and followed by the
return of materials, using SASE for non-selected artists. Selected
artists will be notified via email.

RECEIVING AND REMOVAL OF WORK
All work is to be received Friday July 27 and Saturday July 28. Work
may be delivered by hand or by private, pre-paid shipment. Artist pays
for return shipment. Return packaging is required. No substitutes of
accepted artwork shall be permitted.

RETURN OF MATERIALS
A self-addressed stamped envelope (SASE) must be included with
sufficient postage for the return of your submission materials.
Selected artists will receive return materials after the end of the
exhibition. Non-selected artists will receive materials after
selection period ends.

SALES
RedSaw asks for 30% from the sales of exhibited work.
