[dorkbotnyc-blabber] looking for sonic collaborator

spurse, an experimental art collective, seeks to collaborate on a
project to develop an auditory augmented reality system for a series of
exhibitions in summer 2008 and spring 2009.  We're looking for the
assistance / collaboration of a programmer who is interested in sound,
and the transposition of data into spatialized audio, triggered by
geolocation.

Other areas of interest/useful skills: gps hardware and software
interfaces, simple audio analysis, hacking fm transmitter systems and
some electronics circuitry, and some database programming. Members of
the collaborative with experience in these systems can provide guidance,
if necessary.

We are interested in a genuine collaboration. More information on the
collective (spurse) can be found at: spurse.org. There will be support
for all of the necessary materials a modest honorarium and collaborative
credit for what is developed.
