I just found a flea market that's open every saturday and sunday right at
the entrance to the Lowes parking lot in brooklyn. As you enter the fence
it's on the left, big signs, lots of 'junk' all around. I think it closes
around 5pm, not sure though.

There are a lot of old typewriters there, some weird, victorian looking mini
piano thing, not sure if it still works, old electronic keyboard, old sega
game system, old weed wackers, etc etc. You might find something useful
there

also has a section with a lot of scrap iron, old railing, banisters, etc
