[dorkbotnyc-blabber] CALL FOR PARTICIPATION: SMARTYPANTS NEEDED FOR UPCOMING PROJECT (and advice on SMS Gateways)

Analogous Projects is looking for advisors/collaborators for an upcoming
project.  We are considering using an open-source SMS gateway in a
street-game we are developing.  The game will make and execute decisions via
a Perl-managed MySQL database.  We're okay on that end.  What we are lacking
is a familiarity with SMS gateways.  And we're hoping you can help!


Our needs break down into two basic chunks:

- We need to consult with some folks who are familiar with SMS to talk
through our basic plan and confirm that it's practical.  This could be a
one-time conversation or a series of ongoing conversations (depending on
your desired commitment-level) and can occur over your medium of choice
(i.e., phone, email, facebook, in-person).  We plan to do this over the next
week ..so it's a fairly immediate need, but also a short-term need (i.e.,
low-commitment!) .

- We also need to collaborate with a developer during the month of May in
order to implement and test our system.  (If you are able to advise us prior
to May:  That's awesome, but NOT required!)
