Message-ID: <169E684C-13C5-4FEA-A2A0-2C15092A13C5@pan-o-matic.com> Hello everyone, I am working with the artist collective Common Threads, a cooperative committee run by members of the Retail Action Project (RAP). RAP advocates for retail workers rights throughout Manhattan. We are participating in the Art In Odd Places exhibition that runs the month of October and takes place around 14th St and Union Square. One of the projects involves outdoor video projections of worker testimonials. We will be projecting on the streets and will most likely be on the go. We are in need of a mobile projection unit and wondering if anyone has something we can borrow. http://www.retailactionproject.org/pagedetail.php?id=action_common http://www.artinoddplaces.org Many thanks, Stephanie Stephanie Rothenberg Assistant Professor Department of Visual Studies University at Buffalo ************************ stephanie at pan-o-matic.com www.pan-o-matic.com ************************ From lewischicken at gmail.com Fri Aug 7 13:45:34 2009 From: lewischicken at gmail.com (Alison Lewis) Date: Fri, 7 Aug 2009 10:45:34 -0700 Subject: [dorkbotnyc-blabber] White Axial LEDs Message-ID: <8374e69e0908071045h5cee1b0en3f658474a4e25e01@mail.gmail.com> Hi: I am looking for an 1.8 to 2mm Axial LED with Leads in WHITE. I've been working with them in other colors, like this one [ http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=516-1410-ND] For my application I need something this small with leads, and I can't use the regular SMT. So far, I cannot find this type of LED in WHITE. I'd like to know if they make anything else similar to this in White or if anyone knows where to get white ones like the one above? As usual, I found the same link just right after my post and put in an order. Seems they take a few days to process, so I kept looking. Found a 1.8mm LED that is hopefully close in size from moddersmart.com and purchased it as back up in case the others don't arrive in time... http://www.moddersmart.com/en/loose-1-8mm-led-blue-clone-2.html On Fri, Aug 7, 2009 at 11:42 AM, Chris Vecchio, PhD < cvecchio at noisemantra.com> wrote: > > http://www.lc-led.com/View/itemNumber/155 > > > > -------- Original Message -------- > Subject: [dorkbotnyc-blabber] White Axial LEDs > From: Alison Lewis > Date: Fri, August 07, 2009 1:45 pm > To: A discussion list for dorkbot-nyc > > Hi: > > I am looking for an 1.8 to 2mm Axial LED with Leads in WHITE. > > I've been working with them in other colors, like this one [ > http://search.digikey.com/scripts/DkSearch/dksus.dll?Detail&name=516-1410-ND] > For my application I need something this small with leads, and I can't use > the regular SMT. > > So far, I cannot find this type of LED in WHITE.
