I'll talk to Ryan Stec, of artengine, about bringing you out here for a day, 
and I'll see who in Ottawa is interested.  (Right now, we've got 3+ people, 
but that's before announcing it.)

If it does happen, would Saturday, November 3 or November 17 work for you? 

Regarding the 3D printer, we've got full documentation up at RepRap.org, but 
feel free to ask me any questions you might have.  There are a few people in 
Montreal who are interested in building a "RepStrap": wip, aalex ( Alexandre 
Quessy  ), maybe Hugo Desmeules.  And I'll probably be passing through mtl in 
the next couple months showing off what I've got, which is a "RepStrap" and a 
Darwin, a RepRap made via a conventional 3D printer.
