If you are like me and pay attention to art and robotics you have  
probably been hearing a lot about the Arduino micro-controller  
platform and all of the cool things that people are doing with it. In  
some circles this platform has almost developed a cult like following.

Well this sunday you can build your own.

DorkbotPDX has put together a cost effective arduino kit ($6) and an  
equally inexpensive programmer ($9) and this sunday from 5-8PM  at  
PNCA (1240 NW Johnson -- Room 205 ) we will help you put yours together.

The cost of the seminar is $15 and is limited to the quantities we  
have on hand (25-30) so if you want to make sure that you get a spot  
you can prepay for your kit (paypal this address) or email me to RSVP.

You will need to bring a laptop, a usb cable, a soldering iron (10-20  
watt pencil type) and a pair of dikes (wire cutters).
