This is likely the next project for me if I can ever get my benito put
together. Once I have it together, I've got a few different ideas
about improving or expanding on the design:

* add some better filtering and preamping to the input to get the
signal to a good level -- also, a notch or comb filter could provide
for some interesting results.

* play with some different, simple digital signal processing ideas

* experiment with different approaches to handling the DAC side of the device

In addition, once everything works on the arduino/dorkboard, I'd like
to see how much of this can be transferred to a smaller AVR device.
Getting down to the bare minimum would make for an easily replicated
device with a lot of potential.
