[dorkbotpdx-blabber] Buying a laptop

I am tempted to tell you to do one of two things both of which I have  
done for several years now  in the same position.

1. look at a used mac (I have a g3 ibook that runs tiger just fine).
2) look at financing a mac book. (>100 month for a year);

If you want to work on a windows or linux  box it will run them better  
than the average windows based laptop, natively or vm.

I will loan you my g3 if you are just needing something now.
