Of course, while I am a strongly supportive fan of the netbook+linux
(Ubuntu reportedly runs splendidly on many of the new netbooks), you
could also run OSx86 if you don't mind skirting the EULA a bit --
apparently there have been multiple reported successes getting it
running on various netbooks. And word is that it performs quite well,
too.
