you would explode and die!  but it would be awesome!

speed-vest seems to be experiencing a delayed flash-in-pan
reaction from our friend the Internets.  just in time for
us to show it at some fancy thing in seattle next month!

but frankly i am already desperate to work out version 2.0,
with turn signals and brake lights, and wireless, and and and etc.

the one thing i've never really managed to work out, and i'd
love y'alls ideas, is how to do a version of this that would
be really legible in the daytime.  at some point in the day,
reflective surfaces are way brighter than lights, but all
the reflective readerboards i've seen are huge, clunky, thick
things.  mechanical by definition, it would seem.  or maybe not?
