Maybe we could do something like pass it around, once a month, someone
brings it to the meeting and shows what they intererfaced to it... Then
pass it on to someone else... I mean we are a collective, why not let it
be the Borg? Start off by hacking the brains, then add IR sensors/bump
sensors, next add wireless control, or GPS, or an acclerometer.... Etc
etc.

I found a complete Roomba Discovery system out on the curb in my
neighborhood. It appears to have a problem with its battery and/or
charging system, which I can only assume is why it was left for dead.
If somebody wants it, I can bring it to the next meeting or you can pick
it up. The only stipulation I have is that you reinvent it to do
something way cooler than vacuum your floors, I have a feeling it's not
so great for that even with a fresh battery.
