I know someone who got involved - and moved there! - early last year.
He got sucked into lots of drama, felt compelled to do lots of work on
the space, neglecting his architecture studies in the process. It
wasn't a good scene. Last time I talked to him he wanted to move out
but still be somewhat involved. But the "scene" (mostly one of the
founders) was really wearing on him.

And yes, it's the funny-looking greenish building on Milwaukie. ;-)
