The answer is yes. Travis is a very good resource. I've been looking into it
for a few months and have most of the parts (except the actual motorcycle,
minor detail), and there is at least one other EV guy.

were you at the last meeting? (bad with names, sorry)

What sort of EV are you thinking of? There are a few coversions that show up
at the Hillsboro farmers market occationally (last week was a pickup, seen a
full conversion of one of the hybrids before as well)

The questions (besides what kind of vehicle) would be range for typcial use,
speed (there are drag racers in town) car vs. motorcycle vs. bike... and the
big one at least for me $$ (that kinda set the others).

There are a few books on the subject, but from what I've seen the tech has
changed so much that they are not really of use, but I could be mistaken.
