Meritline is having a sale with 50% off wii accessories... they're
ridiculously overpriced on most stuff, but you can get a nunchuck
controller for $14.

Basically, the nunchuck communicates with the remote over i2c... so you
just plug the 'chuck into your arduino (for instance) and you've got
access to the joystick, buttons, and accelerometers.  It's rad.  Get
one.
