I prefer digikey overall for a number of reasons. First, anytime I.ve been
in a customer service situation with them they've been accommodating
almost to the point of obsequiousness. second, 99% of the time digikey'
s packaging is 100% recyclable (almost none of mouser/newark's packaging
is). Third, they always make their shipping deadline. plus they usually
have the parts i want.
I recently had mouser give me the run around on customer service too.
but you're right, mouser's web interface is way better than digikey's
