As usual, if you want any of the "parts for beer" (tiny SMT parts, list
below), just email me at least a couple hours before the meeting and
I'll bring them for you. As always, cash ok but beer preferred.
Recently I dug up a good number of surplus PCB drill bits from my garage
storage. They're carbide which make excellent holes when used with a
dremel in a press, but even with the press they break very easily if you
slip and move the board. You do NOT need to request them... I'll just
bring some to the meeting and see if anyone wants 'em. They're in 10
packs, size ranges #70-79 (useful for vias and components with thin
wires) and #55-69 (useful for components with thicker wires). I'm
thinking perhaps 2 packs for a beer? I don't etch boards anymore and
I'd mostly just like to see them put to good use (or get broken trying....)
There are also several of those big graphical LCDs still up for grabs
(absolutely free), pulled from Ben's Micros 2700 terminals. Here's the

If you want an LCD, plus the board with the controller chip, and a
backlight power supply, just email and I'll bring it to the meeting for
you. Touch sensitive panels are also available. Some hacking required
to get it working....
