Every CueCat I ever saw (and still own) was keyboard/ps2 based.  I 
wouldn't recommend plugging your ps2 device into usb unless you're 
desperate for some expensive thrills.

It might work, but you'd be better off using using vulcanizing rubber 
cement....it kinda melts the rubber to itself instead of just getting 
all hard and crusty.
