[dorkbotpdx-blabber] Need a location for upcoming DorkbotPDX events

Ok folks, I'm getting desperate here. I really want to try and schedule
another large DorkbotPDX event for sometime in early to mid November, but so
far I haven't been able to lock down a location. It can't cost anything,
needs to have basic ammenities (chairs, good placement for a speaker at the
front and someplace to project slides, videos, etc.), and should be able to
accomodate at least 70 or 80 people (possibly more -- hard to say how many
we will get). Ideally, it would be available on a Saturday or Sunday in the
late afternoon, early evening range. If you have any solid ideas (not
conjecture, please -- I need tangible points of contact), please let me know
(off list).
For those of you who have not attended one of our past events (not the
workshops), these are more "formal" style setups where we get a couple
interesting speakers to present on some interesting project, artwork or
ideas that relate to the sorts of things DorkbotPDX is all about. If you
want to talk or know someone who would be good to have speak, let me know.
I'm hoping to give the November event an audio/sound-theme, but it depends
on how things work out.
If we can find a good location, we'll try to arrange these on a consistent
basis going forward.
