Hi Thomas...

My name is Jim Newton, and I am the founder of TechShop in Menlo Park,
California.

As you probably know, we are opening a TechShop in Portland. Our TechShop
Portland partner Denney Cole and I are very pleased to let you know that we
have received the keys for the new TechShop Portland building, and you and
everyone else in the Portland area is invited to come and check it out
Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 7:00 PM to 10:00 PM!

The building space is 33,000 square feet (18,000 square feet larger than the
original TechShop in Menlo Park), and is right on SW Allen Blvd in
Beaverton, just east of 217.

I am flying out to Portland for the *TechShop Portland Building Dedication
and Celebration* party on October 22, 2008. I'm looking forward to meeting
you and lots of the other 1600+ people on the TechShop Portland mailing
list, and answer all your questions about what TechShop Portland will have
to offer you.
