I got a lot of emails saying "sounds good... but who are you?" Sorry
for not identifying myself, I'm not used to having a discussion with
people online and then meeting in person. Hopefully I didn't sound
like a strange or devious person. So, my name is Micah, I'm a physics
grad student at PSU, I've been in Portland for 2 years and plan to
live here indefinitely.

If the protocol here is to keep the discussion going on Dorkbot, maybe
you guys can just jump in and I'll follow suit (otherwise people can
continue to email me personally).

Thanks for the interest thus far. Keep it coming. I'd like to
negotiate for a face-to-face soon but I'd also like to give people
some time to respond.
