[dorkbotpdx-blabber] Dorkbot Mixer / Haunted Garden closing reception at ON Gallery. Thurs Apr 23. 7-10pm

Hi Dorks,
we'd like to invite you to a Dorkbot Mixer and closing reception for
my installation Haunted Garden at ON Gallery on Thursday April 23, 
at 7pm.

What's that? Haunted Garden is a room that listens to you, figures out
the notes in your voice, and composes music out of them. But that's 
not all! It chooses the notes, and you choose the instruments to play
them on. The instruments (software sequencers and samplers) are virtually 
located throughout the gallery space, so the cello  and melancholy piano play
downstairs, while the french horn piano and harpsichord are by the front door. 

If you like, bring instruments and we'll play duets. We'll have refreshments, 
good dork conversation, and I'll give a little talk about how the system 
works and cetera.
