the 40's.  I think he was a punk kid who never lived in a world without cell
phones.  I also think it's probably from the early 60's and NOT from the

All of the little black stacks appear to be a type of old style rotary
dialer / patch switch like they used to have in central offices.  If nothing
more, it's cool looking.
