I can't speak to their quality, but I am ordering the following from  
Sure Electronics:

Qty 1, Sure, LE-DS006, 100 pcs Ultra Bright Mixed LEDs 5mm Clear, $4.84, $4.84

That's 25 each of red, green, blue, & white (IIRC) for cheap.  They  
have other single-color LED packs where they throw in free resistors  
too.
