Stuff for the '328 was recently added to the Arduino IDE source in svn,
which will eventually become the 0013 release. It's still too early to
know if version 0013 will "officially" support the '328 out of the box,
but chances are looking pretty good.

Of course, if you want more memory, Zach Hoeken's Sanguino board has
twice as much as the '328, and a lot more I/O too. It requires adding
files to your Arduino installation, but it's easier than the '328.

I'm working on a board right now that has the same memory as the
Sanguino, and even more I/O in a smaller form factor (but still
breadboard friendly). Mine requires adding files, just like Zach's
Sanguino, though there is an installer than does it for you. If all
goes well, you should this new little board at the next meeting!

Neither of these use a pin compatible chip, so the '328 is of course the
only way to get more by just plugging a chip into an existing Dorkboard
or Arduino board. Hopefully another 20-some will get on the order so we
all pay only $3.30......
