[dorkbotpdx-blabber] Troubleshooting a DDR Pad?

I've got an interactive video project I'm working on that involves
controlling video through a Dance Dance Revolution-style pad. A friend
donated one to me - it's nicely constructed from metal and acrylic, but
non-functional. I've taken it apart so I understand how it should work, but
it's not working and I'm very amateur at troubleshooting. Is anyone
interested in working on the project with me? The finished version will be a
console and DDR pad that controls a 3-layer video system, debuting at the
SOAK campout this June.
