Could you describe a little more about your pad (connector? does it have
lights?), and in what way it doesn't work (i.e. you plug it in, does it
light up, is it detected by the computer if you've gotten that far, or
are certain buttons just dead).
I used DDR pads a couple of years ago (3rd party soft pads, with
playstation connectors) and the one constant was that they wanted more
power than I could provide over USB from a laptop, do I had to be picky
about what's plugged in and only use one per playstation converter.
