[dorkbotpdx-blabber] Dragon / 168 / AVR Studio ?

I tried the whole meeting last night to get my Dragon to burn Adaboot
onto an ATmega168 using ISP, but didn't have any luck. I think I can
rule out Vista as the culprit, because it does the same thing on XP at home.

Has anyone had any luck with this setup?

Here's what I did:

    * Wired the Dragon as per
      http://support.atmel.no/knowledgebase/avrstudiohelp/mergedProjects/AVRDragon/SCKT3200A2.htm
      and socketed the chip
    * In AVR Stuidio: connected to the Dragon on the USB port
    * Left ISP Frequency at 1.000 MHz
    * Selected ADABoot_168.hex from
      http://www.wulfden.org/downloads/code/arduino/ADABootLoaderR3_9D15.zip
      as my Flash Input HEX File
    * Set low_fuses=0xff, high_fuses=0xdd, extended_fuses=0x00 as per
      append_2_boards.txt (from above archive)
    * Set lockbit to 0x0f (per above), this one I'm not sure about at all
    * Left all other parameters to default
    * When I program the chip, I get the following messages and also an
      ISP Mode Error message popup.
          o Getting ISP frequency parameters.. SD=0x03 .. OKOK
            Reading FLASH input file.. OK
            Setting device parameters.. OK!
            Entering programming mode.. FAILED!
            Leaving programming mode.. OK!

Can someone please point me in the right direction here? I tried all of
the lower ISP frequency settings. Also, I get the same errors if I try
to erase the device.

Thanks,
-Hans
