It's around 650 miles - one long day. Tickets on Southwest were ~$99 RT to
San Jose, not sure if they are still available.

I'd like to go, but can't really afford airfare and don't have a reliable
enough car. If anyone is driving down and has an extra seat, I've got gas
money and a place to stay.
