[dorkbotpdx-blabber] Isadora/Arduino

Has anyone had any luck interfacing Isadora (or other video mixing software) with Arduino (or other serial/midi capable micro) in order to synch video with real world electronics? I'd like to find a flexible platform for doing this in various ways from simple on-off and timing to continuous data feeds for live interactivity with multiple video outputs. Isadora/Arduino seem capable but the serial interface is somewhat less than plug-and-play. Any thoughts?
