egad, the clock is ticking and i'm way behind on trying
to build a new Speedvest circuit in time for Maker Faire.
i have a question: i'm trying to use this interesting chip,
the supertex HV57908, to drive some el-wire.
http://www.supertex.com/pdf/datasheets/HV57908.pdf
it comes in an PQFP-80 package with 80 pins and 0.8mm pin
spacing. i'm looking for some kind of break-out board
that i can solder this chip to, in order to wire it
up to other chips on a piece of perfboard. seems
simple enough, and there are a cornucopia of breakout
boards for other QFP packages, with less pins or more
pins or different pin pitches. but i cannot find anything
that fits this chip!
WWDD? i could design my own breakout board, but i
fear i'd screw it up and waste a bunch of time and money
going back & forth with the fab shop. isn't there
a generic solution for "guy wants to use a chip"
problems like these?
yrs anxiously,
