[dorkbotpdx-blabber] perfboard!

hi,

i'm still collecting the bits and pieces for my
next project.  since i don't think i have time to
master Eagle and board-fabbing and get a board
made, i'm planning to just solder this together on
some perf-board, like the stuff Paul S. showed
me at a meeting a month ago.  (or was it six?)

now i'm trying to order perfboard and i'm flabbergasted
at the variety.  what is so complex about boards
with holes, i just don't know.  certainly i could
use a ground bus and a power bus, but otherwise
i just ... want ... holes!

i dropped by Norvac today -- and saw a flyer for the
Cult Induction taped to the back of the info-desk
monitor, nice -- but they had only two pieces of perf-board
in stock, both with the holes bussed together in stripes.

feh, i say.

can anyone recommend a type/manufacturer for about
2" x 6" of perfboard with no frills?

(and why didn't i ask this an hour ago,
before the group order closed?)
