Hey everybody,

I just finished a blog post I've been writing for the last couple of  
weeks (and thinking about and researching for quite a bit longer).  
It's an attempt to give an introduction to the Arduino internals for a  
beginner:

It takes a basic hello world sketch and walks through the  
implementation of all of the arduino library functions down through  
avr-gcc and all the way to the hardware.

Since I've only very recently learned enough to understand all of this  
myself, I'd be super grateful if you guys could take a look and let me  
know if you see any errors. The post is rather long, but I hope pretty  
readable.

I'd greatly appreciate any feedback you have and already am super  
thankful to those of you who've helped me along my way towards even  
understanding things as well as I do.
